Konami thrilled fans during the PlayStation Showcase 2023 Livestream by announcing the upcoming release of Metal Gear Solid Delta (stylized as △): Snake Eater, a remake of the iconic Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, exclusively for PlayStation 5. The reveal was accompanied by a captivating trailer showcasing enhanced visuals and gameplay.

Not stopping there, Konami also unveiled the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Volume 1, slated to launch for PS5 in the fall. This collection will encompass three beloved titles: Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, providing an immersive gaming experience for fans.

Originally debuting on PlayStation 2 in November 2004, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater has seen various adaptations and remasters across platforms such as PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, and even a Nintendo 3DS version in March 2011.
