The NendoCurator EP. 3

Welcome to episode 3 of The NendoCurator featuring Light and L!

Light and L were some of the original Nendoroids and they finally got a much needed update. Because honestly, they were pretty ugly..

This is how the original versions of the pair looked!

The faces just seem so off..

Light comes with the following:

• 3 Faceplates

• Death Note

• Scythe

• Apple

• Pen hand

L come with the following:

• 3 Faceplates

• A Chair

• Cake

• Fork Hand

• Handcuffs

The Good:

The handcuffs. One of the most iconic arcs in that series is them being cuffed together, which was quite a delight for the BL fans. Their paint jobs are also flawless, while they are pretty simple clothing wise, I didn’t see any random paint spots or over painted buttons. I’m also really impressed by how perfectly the hair fits around the ears, a lot of my other droids have obvious gaps where the hair meets the face.

The Bad:

L, like quite a few other Nendoroids, has some pretty sharp hair. You need to be careful when swapping his face or you’ll get a nice stab. The lack of Ryuk is also heartbreaking.. Although I appreciate the apple accessory and scythe for Light, I would rather give them up for my favorite Shinigami.

Overall, Light gets an 8/10 and L gets a 10/10 (mostly because of his cute accessories)!
