Tokyo Revengers 3D Action RPG Coming This Winter!

Victor Entertainment Games has announced the development of a 3D action RPG based on the beloved franchise. Set to release this winter, the game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, PC via DMM Games, iOS, and Android.

The free-to-play game, featuring in-game item purchases, will delve into the main time loop story from Ken Wakui's original manga. Wakui's manga, launched in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in March 2017 and concluded in November 2022, has gained widespread popularity.

The narrative follows Takemichi Hanagaki, who, after learning about his middle school girlfriend's death at the hands of the Tokyo Manji Gang, time-leaps twelve years into the past. Determined to alter the course of events, Takemichi embarks on a journey to save his girlfriend and confront the notorious delinquent gang.

The Tokyo Revengers manga has already been adapted into a successful anime series, with the Christmas Showdown arc recently concluding in January 2022. The upcoming anime installment, Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku-hen (Tenjiku Arc), is set to premiere in October.

Fans can also look forward to the live-action film adaptations, with the first film ranking as the top live-action film in Japan in 2021. Crunchyroll is streaming the films, and the sequel, Chi no Halloween -Kessen- (Bloody Halloween -Decisive Battle-), is scheduled to open on June 30. The Tokyo Revengers saga continues to captivate audiences across various platforms, promising an immersive experience for fans in the gaming realm this winter.
