Preview Trailer for New Quintessential Quintuplets Anime Special

The upcoming anime special "Gotōbun no Hanayome∽" (The Quintessential Quintuplets ∽) has unveiled an enticing trailer showcasing the quintuplets in swimsuits, accompanied by the theme song "Gotōbun no Mirai" (Quintuplet Future). Scheduled to screen in Japanese theaters for three weeks starting July 14, the special will later air on television during the summer.

Audiences attending screenings from July 14 will receive mini shikishi illustrations featuring the quintuplets in swimsuits, with a QR code for an exclusive online video. Additionally, cast members Ayana Taketatsu and Miku Itō will greet fans at a special stage event on July 16 at Tokyo's Shinjuku Wald 9 theater.

The opening and ending theme songs, "Gotōbun no Mirai" and "Takaramono" respectively, are performed by the quintuplets' voice actors. The CD release containing these songs, set for July 12, will also feature tracks from the "Gotōbun no Hanayome: Goto Pazu Story" and "Gotōbun no Hanayome: Kanojo to Kawasu Itsutsu no Yakusoku" games.

This special adaptation promises to delve into previously untold stories, offering fans a fresh perspective on the beloved "Quintessential Quintuplets" series. The original manga by Negi Haruba, which concluded in February 2020, has already seen success with its two anime seasons and a recent movie serving as the story's finale.
